Also I think the westerners are the worst of the bunch, pretty much all people not good enough at their homeland end up getting plush jobs. Plumbers and electricians end up being managers in completely unrelated fields. All because they hold a European/American passport.
Money paid there is still much much better compared to what people earn here. One of the only reasons I might consider going back to a place I despise.

The Westerners are indeed the worst, the fascination of all things West over here in the Gulf is rather disgusting. So like you said, people who aren't good enough in their homeland get big jobs here just because of where they're from.

Money here is good, but life has become very expensive, if you intend to come back here, i would strongly advise you not to come unless you'd earn 2500$ as a minimum(assuming you'd be coming single).
