I'm still contemplating whether or not to go out with my best mate's sister. I like her, I'm pretty sure she likes me (my mate even told me she talks about me a lot). So far so good.

But here's the tricky part: things will go wrong at some point. And knowing myself it would not be a clean break up. In fact, I don't think there's anyone who is worse at these kind of things in the entire world than I am. No need to discuss this, it will be messy.

Considering the fact that it's my best mate's sister we're talking about, the aftermath would not favour me. I know his family, he knows my family, she knows my family. Anyways, what do you guys reckon?

Skip her, it will ruin your relationship with your best friend.

Is it worth damaging your friendship with your best mate?

I'm not really a BFF kind of guy. And I don't think it would really destroy our friendship as the guy is extremely rational and knows me very well in this aspect. I'm more worried about the embarrassing situations that will follow.

But you guys are probably right though.

You're getting strangely round around the edges lately, more like a regular human being. It's a mixture of weird and wonderful, still can't get used to it.
The problem is that I don't seem to find a poster who really pisses me off. gutterpoet might do the trick.
