@Burke: My organization was completely based in the US offices. But back in 2005, they moved part of it here. Since then, we have exceeded expectations, saved millions for the company due to our research and will be expanding our workforce here. We may be a shitty country, but we still do a much better job. :)

@Martin: It involves a lot with printers and printers only. Our job description is not just one thing. It's almost anything that out Operation Head requires. Analysis for new and existing printers is common and ongoing. We sometimes have to simulate certain issues, recreate them and list possible causes and provide possible fixes. it also involves providing better support documents for our call centre agents so that they can provide better support to our customers.

Fair enough. It's not like there's any way you can verify what I said. You'll just need to take my word for it. Besides, the way I look at it, the more important job is given to the Americans, i.e. designing the product itself. I think this is one area that Americans are better at.

@Martin: Yeah, I will get a raise, but in a few months. I do work in night shift now, but it's not as bad as before. My current working hours is 3pm-12am.
