For sure, a comfortable US victory and a draw in the England game would be ideal and enough to see us top the group with England going home.

Well hard to believe that we would manage to score even if the game was destined to be 180mins long.
Can't believe how good their keeper was. On the other hand these NZs are bunch of amateurs and it is really a shame that it ended like this...Italian team can eat them alive , I really can't explained what happened.
Many blame Lippi for this (he threw away first half of the game 2 times in a raw, he didn't call Cassano, Rossi or Candreva etc, he is using Marchisio out of his position) which is true actually, but I think that the problem is much deeper than this mentioned, simply the players quality is not as it was at the previous competitions.
But no matter what this team has potential at least to beat NZ by 2 or 3 goal difference.
