And the funny thing is, Deneb could probably pick apart my analysis to bits. But one thing he should agree on is that the whole world economy remains in the balance... tipping towards the downside.

I know by parents have a few that are more than ten years old and some that are less. I'm not really seeking advice, just trying to learn more about certain funds.

My pops has some IRAs and some mutual funds and we were chatting earlier.

I still don't understand how this fucking country elected not one, but two Bush presidents, one of which was elected TWICE.

Folks could not ascertain the fake look on their faces?

With a populous like this one, I'd short our own future even more aggressively than the Roman Empire.

You should pose the question to your father whether he expects inflation or deflation over the next five to ten years.

Contrary to popular belief, the market does not always recover. We may have very well experienced our hyperinflationary period over the last 20 years, with deflation being the rule from here-on-out.

But another question I'd pose is to figure out how liquid you are as a family and an individual. In times of economic distress and geopolitical tension, having capital on hand is very important.
