I have a Wirless Modem, I want to link two PS3's over an offline connection LAN thingy to play RDR free roam.

I plug in the ethernet cable between the router and the first PS3.

??? I know I need some sort of address or something to connect the other one.

Is it just a matter of pluging in the ethernet cable and finding the address to enter into the other PS3
