Sucks. Hopefully you'll be tired by the end of the day and get some good sleep later. Mine's finally returning to normal.
I went to the pool last night and wore myself out. I haven't swum for several months, must have been quite the shock to my body lol. I suspect that's why.

It's pretty cool. I like the place, the people, the work. What I like less is all kinds of environmental issues like I got windows on my workstation  and they only let me run linux in a virtual machine. And things like the office gets hot and I got a better work environment at home. But on the whole I like it.

Here's where I work: http://www.dgmr.nl/ They're a bunch of engineers who calculate stuff like energy efficiency for buildings, noise pollution etc. They also have a software section, that's where I am.
Is it at least Win 7? :D

Cool, glad you've settled in. I'd like to say that job sounds cool, but it doesn't. To me it seems more boring than my pipe selling. But that's just me. I hate jobs in general. :D

I'd rather sell pipes than be here right now.

That makes two of us. Pity money doesn't grow on trees :p

winxp. but what difference does it make, it's windows ffs. I have this monster running called outlook which is the slowest email client in the history of computers.

Pipe-selling is underrated. I get to:

- sit in the office and browse the web a lot
- do both work and leisure correspondence in English so I get to practice my English
- drive orders around town so I practice my driving as well
- few times a month I get to offload a whole truck full of pipes in boxes, which gives me a full body workout so I can skip the gym on that day
- you always have the feeling your day is gonna come; you know if you're a doctor your dream is to sit somewhere in a crowded place and a stunning, luscious babe is gonna get some seizure and you're gonna give her CPR and save the day. It's the same here; only I hope it's gonna be a burst pipe and the babe is gonna soaking wet and screaming. Then I'm gonna come, unscrew that pipe like Mike Delfino and then screw the lady plumber style.

Yes, today is one of those slow days. :D

I could use this. I have two huge flaws in my otherwise mediocre driving. Motorway and parking. And they both have to do with completely horrendous orientation about how big the car is and what the distances are around it.

Yeah, Outlook sucks. :D

I'm really glad for you. Liking the job you do makes a world of difference.

Motorway? You mean highway or? Where's the problem there?

Parking ain't all that hard, it's just practice. Just lay of the gas and go slow and let the others honk. And try and always park the same way untill it becomes second nature. For example for the next two weeks always try and park in reverse, then when you're completely relaxed, work on side parking. It really becomes second nature real quick. If you drive that is. :D
