But you know that "perkele" isn`t something that you just say!? You must shout it out loud and probably take a little Koskenkorva while shouting?
One of my best friends is going to Sweden for a while (to study it seems), just informed me today. I`ve been in Stockholm for quite a few times (and in Halmstad for once), but the USA, that "God" seems to bless so much, is still on my list of unvisited countries. (for fuck sake I just realized that I`ve never been out of Europe)

Of course I shout it but without being intoxicated by a Koskenkorva In any case my Finnish is limited to a few words here and there and I can count to 4 I can nail the Finnish-Swedish accent though My best friend growing up his mother is from Suomi and she used to yell at him in Finnish...hilarious
Stockholm is da shit. I lived in Sweden for 10 years but never got to visit mainland Finland; went as far as Åland.

So your Finnish is just about as limited as my Swedish (although I have "studied" it for don`t know how many years now). I can say that "Jag heter "Lapa" och jag bor i Esbo" or I can ask "När går nästa buss till Slussen". I actually tried to get (with my friend) two tickets for subway when in Stockholm, but we ended up with 20 tickets.
I always thought that Åland is just a crappy island, but after I spend a wild night out there last summer my mind suddenly changed.

Nothing, I'm a drunk and I passed out early last night and got up at like 630 or 7 today, so I just hit an "I'm tired" wall so I decided a nice 2/3 hour nap was clutch.
Well, I wouldn`t have done much better than that for sure.
It`s just the fact that everybody here are forced to studie Swedish and it just kills all the motivation. It`s a whole another case with English since it`s actually something you gonna need, no matter where you live...
