Visiting relatives, going to a wedding, no idea who's hehe, this is ze workings of my tyrannical mother :D asked me yesterday to take her there, today bought tickets. But gave me a reason to go, wasnt thinking of the possibility, but should be nice.

And I will take you up on that offer because I didnt realize when buying ze ticks that I'll be there in time for the WC semi finals and final, lets hope Egypt goes that far :D But otherwise in general should be fun to watch ze games in huge ass screens in public squares, bit of a tradition of mine here in Sweden, to do so for the big games.

I'll make sure to take a pic with you too and tell me Madridrista brother I met Garay in egypt

Ofcourse, Egyptian sheesha is a must Osman but dare you tell them Somalia aint an Arab state :D

Seriously though, try your best to visit the most traditional places in Cairo and hall of Egypt for that matter. Its the greatest experience you'll have there.

Lol, just bit less (1200) then what I just paid for two go and back tickets to Egypt, for two people. Now to find something to do in 1 month in Egypt is another matter :D

But your problem is prolly trying to find them close to when you want to go perhpas? The above scenario for me is 3 months in advance. Otherwise would been whole another matter.
My plane ticket to ny sounds really expensive comparing to that! I wanna go in july (in 3 months) and I read that its off season!! I could get a plane ticket in off season for that price to Europe... It pisses me off that tickets are so damn expensive

Hehe I heard horror stories of relatives vacationing in Dubai and not being able to find anywhere to watch Euro 2008, thats why I said public places to watch the WC hehe, doesnt need to be the similar sitaution of Sweden (especially when you watch it here in the park with huge screens, free drinks and total babes everywere :D).

And JBF, even if I had 2 days only, would visit all the historical places, but I''ll be there for 1 month, so will for sure plan to see everything there is to see. In general I dont like to stay that long in one place overseas however wonderful it is, I get restless, but having enough time should be useful in this case.

And I never tried sheesha, even if I visit alot of Libnan cafe's/restuarants here who have them.

Niiice, gio is one of the coolest members here. Great guy. As for Yamen, he pm-ed me when he arrived here yet both me and Reb never got the chance to meet him due to Yamen's busy schedule.

Anyway, you haven't met Wahdan, Hist, Naggar or Nasser?

As for shesha, here there's many kinds and so is in Egypt too. The Jordanian one is different from the Palestinian one and the Egyptian one is even heavier on the lungs :D

But almost all flavors are the same, here we call it Argeelah not sheesha btw. And in some places here you can get the traditional Sa3eede sheesha too you know the one with the "2asabbeh" :D

By traditional places I don't mean museums and stuff Osman as those are usually on the plan of every Egypt tourist. Im talking about traditional shops in Cairo and Alexandria even in Asyoot there's some of those. Old shops that for the first glance seems like a place for the poor and helpless yet you'll find some of the rarest and most exotic gifts and souvenirs there.

And read my sheesha post you'll understand the difference :D

Still, you've to arrange a gathering or sth Abu 7meid, at least agree on some day where you go out for lunch or for a Juve game :D It can be easily be done. Wayn sheik 2il shabab ya zalameh :D

We've that here too, we even have a watermelon one believe it or not, instead of the water glass in the end of the sheesha a watermelon is used but only in Summer. While the Apple top is pretty popular here :eyebrows:
