thats my worst nightmare :D i really really want to graduate from this shit hole and start my life from there. although i def agree with u regarding the cream of the crop newbies :D
Dude you've been bitching about exams since we met & it hasn't ended. At least you're finishing your course because there are some that change their majors or are just too scared to leave uni & move on with their lives.:D

You're wasting precious time with those newbies.:D

Man I have 40 year olds at uni who started at the same time I did.
I have a lot of respect for people like that Doozie. Its hard to study at that age considering they've been earning salaries, working full time & probably balancing family time.

You're never to old to learn or to educate yourself.

i totally agree with u regarding having respect for these guys who at the age of 40 try to finish there degree. apart from leading a totally different life than regular students i think as u grow old u dont have "the ass" to sit on a chair and study for hours.

as for me, dude thats pretty much what the ex said although u used encouraging words to put it :touched: :D as oposed too "ahmed you've been failing at least one course ever since i got with u, its always i passed but failed one course over and over"

any way i think i do have to give my self some credit concerning what i go thru with my major, and yup its always exams for me all the bloody time and i guess thats where i f*** up the most. i'm def a student any prof would love to have in class but what happens after i leave uni is the main reason why i keep failing a course or two per term ( i cant be bothered to park my ass for more than 2 hours to study, as i get bored not to mention the things i study are not interesting one bit)

any way this term is pretty different, as i have hard courses and i park my ass to study before the shit piles up and i have a mission impossible on exam night. so here is hoping. i'm quite nearing my graduation as i should be graduating by the summer of 2011 so here is hoping ( fingers crossed)

you, del alpi, and i need to find a way to get some good stuff sent to bozi, the desi's, dru, the germaner, and andy :D

are u serious dusan?!?!?! wow that must be hell for them. i've been told numerous times age counts for shit when u graduate, as long as u prove yr self and work hard at yr work place u r in the safe side.

i dont mind being at uni but it sucks when the t.a is yr friend who used to sit with u in class!!! or when the entire class are freshmen who are annoying as hell!! other than that its ok not a disaster as i make it sound. yeah off course when all yr friends are working it kind of bugs u that u r still in uni but what can you do? when its yr time to graduate u will.
From one point of the view, yeah. But still you gotta take other things under consideration when you're looking for somebody to employ.

Young people would almost always get the job first, especially if we're talking about men. For example, I'd get that job instead of some 40yo guy most likely. They take experience under consideration but since he has none youth gets the chance.

I have too and I'd never make fun of those. Guy who's sitting next to me is 30 and we're in great terms. And yeah, it's hard for them but they are usually forced to do so since they can't work anymore and/or they need that degree.
On the other side, they are more mature and take uni and the whole idea of studying more seriously.

Just keep your eyes on the prize & don't worry about other peoples progress, you could really hold yourself back by doing that.Other than that i admire your determination. It takes a lot to focus like that & stick with your course.

It's not really about the experience but an older man would most likely have more ambition in life & would most probably leave the company to seek self employment or better opportunities.Younger guys are taken because they are more willing to accept a smaller pay check to prove themselves & climb their way through the corporate ranks with age being on their side.

No these days if you have no set skills or experience in a particular field you're screwed. Its just at that age you realize how important that degree really is & how many doors it can open up.

Yeah some good points but I don't see how can older people be more ambitious about the job.

For example, yeah, I'd take smaller wages but there's no way some 40yo would be more excited than I am and be more ambitious to succeed in a career (if we're talking about some good job, not some random crap). I'd work my ass of to make a positive area, get a better rank, better wages and everything.
