I just saw a program about Myanmar and it's saddening to see how much terror a government can cause in people. The people there are afraid to use the phone (most of them don't even own one because it costs $500-$3000 !), oil, electricity and gas prices are sky high and they are regulated by the government and they don't dare to talk about the government. Foreign journalists aren't even allowed in that country so the guys that taped the program had to lie about their identity so they could get a tourist visa.

How there are places like that in the World is beyond me. Seems ironic for me to be saying that because we are just a step away from becoming the next Myanmar.
