Just got finished nailing down a 72% on my GIS test. I totally got hosed on my Bio test this morning, hosed as in I had 3 more to go and the bitch literally snatched it up before I could finish.

My condolences to Sergio.

How's everyone? I'm drowning in work these days, this is no good. Can't focus my mind on anything else, it's awful. :(
Welcome to my world, Martin!

I just got out of another pointless meeting where nothing productive was spawned. Now I have 4 design specs to turnover without having a chance to thoroughly check them

Hey bud. I now have 3h in commute everyday, I gotta relocate and get my shit together. Living in work is not sustainable.

3 hours! damn that sucks

Yeah you really do need to move closer to your office. How are you currently commuting to work? Driving or public transportation?

Public. That is until they stole my bike again. So now: bus (used to be bike) -> train -> tram. Hour and a half one way under ideal conditions.

But if I read on the train, which is the major part of it, I don't notice the travel that much, it's much better.

I'm sorry to say that I can't relate since my commute to this current client is 10mins each way.

But at least you aren't traveling every week, getting stuck in the airport, etc.. And you get to sleep in your own bed every night

Yeah I do. I honestly don't know how people can take a life like that, always in hotels. If I get on a plane once in 3 months that already feels like a lot to me.

I hate planes and airports. If I had to travel like dru, I'd go into depression and probably kill myself with a fork at the coffee shop in the airport.

I think you'd fail, especially with a plastic fork. But I'm no expert.

I don't mind the travel since I don't travel for work everyday. But as most of you know, I did get really sick of traveling every week before I rolled onto this project. But I attribute my distaste for travel at the that time to the project I was on.

Traveling keeps things interesting IMO, it's better than going to the same commute, same office, same people, etc... every single day

You boys feel me?

Maybe. But I really don't like hotels. I'd take the daily routine as long as I can come home at night and be at my place. I'm very attached to home.

That's why you stay in the baller hotels so you don't miss home too much. And it would be wrong if you don't since its on the company dime :D
