I don't think I'm being "uncouth" so don't patronize me :)
BTW why you don't have a job in economics or finance is really beyond me. I can surely say that you know way more than some people I know who work in that field
Well, thank you, but I don't have a degree in finance, plus those jobs are very hard to come by at the moment. Very little to choose from, unless you work for the government.

Andy,

Looks like could just squeeze us in.

That website's pretty cool. I think I'll add it to my bookmarks.
It's got all you need to forecast the weather. Very nice site.

Maybe you should try moving to a big city? are there more opportunities in big cities or is location irrelevant?
Location is everything, but no matter where you look, job opportunities are slim, including in finance and economics. Although I should give it more of a shot in DC. Problem is that since I don't have a finance degree it might be more difficult to get a job.

I just had my first small crash in a car, in my life(5 years driving)! Went well though, it was more of a "kiss" than a crash, but I still got shit-scared for the car damage. I took my old mans car to go and do something and while coming back, I was entering the circular intersection and for a split second turned my head right to wave at a friend. I turned my head back quickly and the car in front of me stopped before a pedestrian crosswalk so I pressed on the break as hard as I could and ABS and every other gizmo in the car went off like I was going 150km/h, not 30km/h. :D I hit the car in front of me so gently, which was coincidentaly also a VW Passat, and all that is good in the world was on my side that day because neither of us had a scratch! To make matters worse, all this happened in front of my firm with my old man standing outside, helping a customer park, and he never noticed a thing.

Praise the Lord!
