Defoe is too inconsistent. I would rather have somebody who knows how to hold the ball and keep position next to Rooney, and too good England doesn't have that type of a player. They can play Rooney as a lone striker and Stevie G right behind him like Liverpool. England with or without John Terry will make it into the knockout stages, but I am expecting them to get knocked by any of the following big teams like Brasil, spain, and Germany if they face them later on. I have a feeling also that Germany is going to win it all.
