Haha I want my social life back too, since I study at night and have work the next day I can't go out during weekdays, and on weekends I'm too tired to even go out to dinner

I wanted to minor in marketing, in fact I'm still thinking about it because I have one semester left, but I'm not sure if it's worth it because almost everyone wants to work in marketing so its highly competitive and the pay isn't that good for about the first five years (I've heard)
Thing is you have to find a balance but how do you that, without losing out on something else?I cant keep a gf because i work too much & i'm a bit screwed up.If i put all my effort into a gf,then i lose a lot of money & i have ppl that depend on me.

Marketing is great but if you have no social & networking skills, you wont make it far. Also everybody goes for a psychology degree or advertising, not marketing.;)
You have to remember there many different industries that you can specialize in,so it's not that competitive if you know which area, you wanna stick with.

In any corporate company the pay wont be good initially but it also depends on which firm you join. You need to network like crazy prior to completing your studies, trust me it will help big time.

Yeah finding a balance is hard, one of my bosses is so full at work that he leaves at 8 every day plus he comes in during weekends! I don't know how his wife keeps up with it...

Thanks for the advise  I'm still not sure if I should go for it or just graduate and get a MBA later... I should probably get an internship in something marketing related to see if I like it or not
