Full HD in that diagonal size is pointless, that's screen is too small for that resolution. At least 37" for Full HD, preferably 42". Either go cheaper for a HD ready panel in that size, or stretch your budget and get a bigger screen.

Depends on how close you sit, I'd guess. I have a 32" Full HD and the video quality is visibly better than many 32" HD-ready ones I've seen.

Could be because of other technical specifics rather than the definition, though. I'm no expert.

How close you sit is very important, true. The resolution alone doesn't define the picture quality, tons of other factors are in play.

The images aren't as sharp in the HDReady ones I have seen. It may be because the image processors in the FullHD ones are better rather than just the resolution itself. The difference between an HDReady and FullHD 32 isn't that huge and a 40" is much more expensive.

Can I use the USB slot in these tvs to play videos? Or are they only for viewing pictures?
