Would they not have killed him if they had knives or guns?

Anyway, I'm looking at the bigger picture.
The point I'm trying to makeis guns or not people will kill each other and in my view at least, being beaten to death is far more horriffic than being shot.
Until we kick this drinking antisocially behaviour it won't stop, and the sad thing is it has spread like diesease into schools, my school in particular was a bad one, I remember on the last day of term one year we got invaded by a gang brandishing knives, I ran home that day like never before.

I think a huge step forward would be firearmed police.

I've never seen a tension for a football match such as the one eygpt vs algeria. I;m hoping everything will be ok, but to be honest it looks like things are only getting worse.

From what I see the bog standard police man is armed with a colloapsable baton, pepperspray and cuffs. A few carry tasers but I don't think I've seen a police man with a gun since the July bombings a few years back.
Point is ordinary citizens, like myself would be shit scared of a policeman with a gun.

Right now they are a joke, and the law disentangle help them either, for example if a policeman questions me I can ignore him unless I am defienatly doing something wrong. If he wants to search me he has to have reasonable suspicion, none of the on the spot random search stuff otherwise I can put my public law hat on and give him a statuical ass whooping.

Those you play online. I havent gotten COD yet, so not sure what online games I have in common with the gamers here.
MW2 and MAG are going, and will probably be, the only games I play online.

Thats very strange to me, all policemen in the states carry handguns and many have shotguns or AR's in their vehicles. Police need to carry guns here or they would all get shot.

That is all true here as well

The police that have firearms aren't scary, they just have firearms. It's not like they go around capping out mugs that look creepy, they are here to protect the average joe.

I would not and could not respect a policeman without a firearm. Here, a baton thwapping is like a tickle contest.
