I'm sure it is, it's just that I've only come across people who use it in an annoying way. My facebook starting page used to be loaded with status updates (via Twitter) from the same people every 5 minutes and until the blocking feature came about it was extremely irritating. I really don't want to know whether the milk just ran out and you have to make a run to the store or whether the lady behind the counter had a mustache which made you go "LOL". That's just annoying.

No that's not really accurate. Facebook is more boring than it is annoying. And chiefly because the people who are using it do so because they are bored. "Cmon, take this movie quiz now" "How similar are you to one of my friends???"

I know what you mean. You can filter that stuff now. There were a few people that played annoying facebook games like mafia wars or something, if you mouse over it you can block those types of notices. You can also block status updates from people as well.

Well whatever, facebook is totally downhill from what it was at first. A clean and very well designed website. The subsequent redesigns have just messed it up, adding more clutter.
