Had to get up stupidly early so that SKY can get fitted.

Still, at least this means I'll get Serie A back on my TV this season.

I might go back to bed after the installation is complete.

Well that sucks.

 Woke up almost 2 hours ago and I don't have to do anything whole day. Well not really anything but some shopping etc. Lazy summer. October is going to wake me up, though.
Lucky you.

I cancelled the meeting with the labour union. They forwarded a fax demanding that i look at their list of demands before negotiations come forward.Negotiations?Giving a list of demands is not negotiating in anyway what so ever.

They want me to provide accomodation for the workers, transport, medical benefits, free lunch & a whopping 15% wage increase.

:lol2:

Yeah fuckin right, ill meet you at the labour courts.Only in Africa.:disagree:

Has there been a change in labour laws in SA recently?

I saw that there were strikes holding up the building some of the World Cup stadiums.

No workers have a right to go on strike, its a constitutional right. But now almost every industry is being hit because these arseholes are taking advantage of the tight schedule involved with the WC.

That was sorted out weeks ago & they even put in over time to cover the lost time.Plus fifa gave the construction workers free tickets for the WC.:D

Well, one could always join the forces to become an internment and relocation specialist in the US for the US Army. :shifty:

bonjour, just woke up an hour ago, and I don't feel like going to the lab because somebody yesterday used methyl sulfide for a chemical reaction and the smell is really bad.Our offices are right next to the lab

I usually use sulfuric acid (12 M) on a daily basis and it's not as bad, I just hate it when somebody is using in while wearing gloves then go touch the door handles the lab pc, & etc... without taking the gloves off, The new guy always do so & we have to keep remind him. He doesn't wear lab coat and goggles, but he don't listen. one day he is going to get hurt really bad.

P.S Dimethylsulfide smell like the combination of many rotten things.

nah just the plain fact that if your not a robot and have any remote personality certain teachers will hate you no matter what you do. damn double standards. I had an interview with some teacher ive never even seen in my life and he spoke to me like i was some piece of shit, arrogant bastard. im not even a bad student i just simply defend myself or speak up when i think something is wrong and there upset because im not going to change for them.

Back in high school, almost all of our teachers treated us in a similar way. It's some type of insecurity and they believe they have some type of power, or it's just their personality that is so stinky. So if you speak up their ego will be tarnished (that what they think) You just have to stay focus, do the homework. Don't give them any chance to critcize you or treat you like that. Also always speak up for youself if they treat you badly for no reason. I had many arguments in high school and in university with professors who would be arrogant with me for no reason, and they hated that I spoke up right infront of the students. Do you know what one professor said to me once when I argue with him in the lecture. He said that he didn't like to be shown infront of the class and didn't like it the way I talked to him. They are so damn insecure. Just ignore them and focus on the important thing which is finishing high school and going to college.
