F*ck swine flu.
My god... every year thousands of people die from the "run-of-the-mill" annual flu and it debilitates millions more. And yet most people couldn't be bothered to get a flu shot.
Call it swine flu, add a handful of deaths of a paranoia-in-the-media pandemic, and everyone is ready to shoot anyone who comes within 50 feet of them. What complete crap.

Oh yeah, about 30,000 die from regular flu each year, so right now it appears that the WHO and everyone and their mother is seriously fear mongering the hell out of this virus. Even Biden told us to not even get on a plane! I mean, this is just insane.

Big time. Worse is that we have people of influence who know diddly crap about biology and science spreading irrational fear, when they couldn't care less about the 30k who die annually from the "common" flu.
The human psychology is so screwed up at irrationally perceiving new risks and blatantly ignoring routine risks that are far more deadly and harmful. We worry about shark attacks and being struck by lightning when we're infinitely more likely to kill ourselves slipping in the bathtub.

Tamiflu isn't the Ponzi scheme. The Ponzi scheme is the American health care system makes Tamiflu possible.
Anyway I'm holding up in my closet with a loaded 12 gage just waiting for something to go "oink". I suggest you throw on your gas mask and bio suit and join me. It is only through fear and gas masks that we will make it through 2012.

I've been working out and I feel a bit tired now.
There's some woman here in Novi Sad and there have been rumours today that she's infected with H1N1. We'll know soon, nothing official yet. Apparently she came from Mexico 2 days ago.
