I wish I'd taken french b in IB. Counselor advised me to take Norwegian as a second language, said I'd cruise through it. Which I did. Of course it taught me nothing.

Well at the end of the day I guess a 6-7 is better than a 4-5, I would have done a language which I knew fluently if I could have got the grade and yet not taken anything from it..

Yeah that's what you think. But in my case I didn't get into my first choice college anyway and my second choice was so much easier that I had 10 points to spare. So even dropping a grade in each subject would have cleared the bar comfortably.
