Can anyone give me names of well known International companies that were significantly effected by the financial crunch?Other than Lehman Brothers preferably.Almost every one in my class will be using them,and i wanted some other company.

So,any companies in mind?

    Go look up any American company.

    And you might have to define "significantly."

    AIG, Citi Group, Berkshire Hathaway, Dryships, Conoco Phillips, et cetera.

    Dryships is the best example as the stock went from 120 to now trading at 4 bucks a share. I doubt people would know about that one.
