So these days I cannot help myself but laugh whenever I read "Wall Street analysts say ___" when it comes off Bloomberg, the AP wire, Forbes, etc.

Given that many of these schmucks were giving out solid buy recommendations last year, if not rating our impregnable AAA securities, "Wall Street analyst" has become synonymous with "know-nothing douche bag" in my vernacular. May as well cite the village idiot in your financial news articles...

It depends on where they work, but most are indeed douchebags who either have no clue what they're talking about or lying. Analysts from Goldman Sachs and the bond raters at Pimco are the worst of the lot; a criminal syndicate all in cahoots that should be brought to justice with the New York Fed.

It just dumbfounds me how the credibility of an entire group of employees, "Wall Street analysts", can actually publicly show their face after what they've been implicated with doing.

"Wall Street analyst" is really on par with "kiddie-diddling priest" these days. Is no one in the financial industry aware of this? Don your hair-shirt and beg for forgiveness before we lend you any kind of credence with that title, alright?

Hugs or no hugs. :p

That would be, "I know nusssing!"

He's from Barcelona, you know.
