Just something I really fancy doing.

No island in particular. Barbados is the only one I've been to before and it was pretty good.

A guy got sacked from my work recently for electronically stalking one of the waitresses. :D

He was pretty damn weird, though.
Does that mean you can put a track on cellphone to locate people? I feel like I have been living under a rock...

He found out where she lived one way or another and started showing up outside her house.

He started doing it pretty shortly after a list of peoples personal e-mail addresses had been put up.

Oh well that mostly sounds like regular stalking...when you said electronically I thought you meant using a whole lot of gadgets to stalk her.

Why?

They must all have the proper radar/sonar equipment and there is rather a lot of space in the sea.

I don't see how they could have absolutely no idea that they were even close to each other.

Well, I have a little anecdote for that. Last year the soldiers guarding one of Norway's largest army bases (tiny country so that's probably not saying much) did a lot of partying, got drunk, and completely oblivious to them someone broke in and stole lots of ammo.

You have more faith in the military than I do.

I would like to think there aren't much by way of distractions on a submarine.

There should also be less left to human error on a sub than on base.

But, I certainly don't have a particularly high opinion of the Armed Forces.
