It depends. Could get extremely worse. Depending on what is presented in this stimulus package, and how much is provided, the package may have no effect whatsoever besides driving up national debt and debasing the currency, something that will come back to haunt us pretty royally.

Seems like a lot of this stuff in here won't do jack shit to stimulate the economy.

The economy isn't a car or a truck, it doesn't need stimulus. Real stimulus comes from saving and investment, not haphazard spending that got us into this mess.

Sounds like Berlu got you going. Soldiers sometimes patrol the streets in Italy and with the recent crime waves Berlu has been saying they should do more of it. Must be really nice and cozy, not just to have armed cops around your neighborhood now also soldiers in all their gear, armed to the teeth. Really sounds like a great place to live.

Not really martial law in Italy though. And to be honest I never noticed that much of it. I don't think we're talking about that many soldiers. But anyway, the army isn't equipped to control a city. There's a reason we have the police.

If there is a mass panic, where all they have to do is detain people or use lethal force, they are better prepared than the police, which is the whole reason to declare martial law. In the US it suspends the Posse Comitatus Act.
