Wondering why love hurts. Anyone?
Emotions entwined with expectations tend to raise our hopes to the point where anything less that our original expectation hurts. The further the reality from our wants, especially when an emotion as strong as love is involved the greater the pain. But as they say, "no pain, no gain". Be happy that love hurts, the ability to love and loose, and love again makes us human.
