Have they yet marked out the future site where he will publicly ascend into heaven? I'm looking to invest in some real estate.
"Ohh we need more money, ohhhh we need more money again, ohh no we need even more money to fix the problems, ohhh no now we have to put you in work brigades, ohhh no now we have to give the bankers trillions more and revamp the Patriotic act because of terrorism. It's needed for the good of the nation." :lol2:

To all the Obama detractors who tried to tell us he's a Muslim...

Answer me this: If he's a Muslim, then why are they allowing his image to be used on all these commemorative plates?!

I want my Danish riots! (And I don't mean over breakfast pastries.)

Enron are you angry about how the media is portraying Obama's coronation? It's really like he's the Messiah to be honest.
Yeah, but it's to be expected. If McCain had won we'd be seeing the same thing on Fox News. Media is trying to make it into the biggest event ever. No one should have to deal with this amount of pressure.

It's really scary how people place all their hopes on politicians. Very scary.

But this is partly why I think Obama will turn out to be one of the more unpopular Presidents in history.

Don't we need to renumber our calendar or something? I mean, Muhammad got the Hijri calendar. We need the Obama calendar so we can start calling this Year 1.

Of course, I know Microsoft would be against it, as it would break all their customers' Zune players.

That could happen if people's lofty expectations aren't meant.

I want Obama to pull a rabbit out of the hat and fix the country. That should be every American's thought. We should want success for our leaders rather than failure. Don't get me wrong, I don't plan on pulling a W and calling failure success if indeed that is the way things happen.

If Obama succeeds I will be very happy, if not I'll be disappointed and critical. But I'm going wait to judge his administration until it's actually in power.

The problem is though that the damage has already been done, and we're trying to fight fire with gasoline.

His picks have been horrendous in my view as well. Tim Geithner, new Secretary of the Treasury, was part of the same group who caused a lot of our problems, plus he broke the law by not paying taxes for years! I can't trust these people.
