I was thinking of taking a sabbatical myself, but with the current market situation, I would find myself jobless for more time than that I can afford currently... so staying put... are you trying for a job?

Yep. I've been poking around. There's more out there than I expected, given all the doom and gloom news. Perhaps that's because there are some companies still in denial.

I could be out for a lot longer than I'd like. But I'm in pretty good shape to be a Man of Leisure for quite a while if I need to be. So it's not all bad...
