I want to install Ubuntu onto a seperate partition... for that I'll have to make a cd... I don't think we can install Ubuntu from within Vista... Daemon tools can only mount images, it can't write (I think)...

I've a Nero disc lying around somewhere... will have to fish that out...

actually, with the latest version of Ubuntu, you can install Ubuntu like a normal program and uninstall it n all. you can boot into UBuntu and windows normally, and no loss of funtionality. why dont u mount it on Daemon Tools and give it a try. it worked for me.*
