Superior in the sense that I prefer it.

I much prefer some of the archaic terms found in legal judgements to the sort of shite some folk speak.

My current most hated butchering of language is centred around the word 'banter'. People keep saying that a night out 'was banter' or a person 'is banter' and it really gets on my tits, ye ken?
Superlatives used for the mundane, depress and annoy me.

Enjoy your English lessons. So, how do I learn this proper English you speak? Or is it just for the elites and literature students because you fear misuse of it?
I don't fear misuse of it: poor use of english(I dont mean those speaking it as a foreign lanhuage) is rather like watching Second rate football. I like watching Champions League.

Aye, a beauty: Bad day for the blue noses.

Still think the scotish maradona Gemmell goal is better.
In terms of quality, yes.

Gemmil's goal wasn't for Aberdeen against the Forces of Darkness, though.

Ever!

My new cringe word.
It seems every other sentence has it needlessly put in to it.
I don't think I've ever noticed that as ever being a problem.
