Sheesh. Not the way I'd want to spend the rest of my Saturday.
But the best thing about living in San Francisco is some of the voter ballot "Easter eggs", like San Francisco Measure R:

San Francisco Votes To Give Dubya Dubious Honor

Oct 17, 2008 2:53 pm US/Pacific

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) ― President Bush still has three more months on the job, but there is already talk of an important building in San Francisco bearing his name.

Construction on the George W. Bush Presidential Library at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, will begin next year, but if Proposition R is passed on Nov. 4, that won't be the only the landmark named in honor of our embattled president.

San Francisco's Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant may soon become the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.
...
As funny and appropriate as that may be, I'm voting "no", actually. Because of the argument of the San Francisco sewer workers who think that naming the sewer after George Bush would be an insult to all the sewer workers.

ugh, disastrous. you tape em together or something? I used to have a somewhat "agile" playing style so I'd easily renew an old injury or incur a new one

i had this one thing where if I put the weight of my body on the toes something would "snap" somewhere between the toes and the heel and I'd be crippled. it went away, but I never figured out how I achieved such a weird injury, one day I just felt it

I didn't want to open a whole new thread for this. There is this shit that keeps popping up every so often for some unknown reason. When it pops up I can't do anything until I get rid of it, and it has a certain time before the PC shuts down. Can someone tell me WTF this is about?

Dudes, I knew I could depend on you computer geeks to help with my problem. Thanks, it worked.
Actually, the shit is still happening.

I did, I went to a chiropractor a few times and he gave me some balancing stuff to do. Stand on a ball with both feet and balance your weight, those kinds of things. But I'm not a patient man and after a couple of weeks I didn't feel any different so I stopped going.

Time heals everything, that's the extent of my wisdom. I don't have any injuries at the moment, because I haven't played footie in 2 years. :D The weird "middle of the foot" problem went away too.

what i've learned if you never let an injury heal properly, then your asking for trouble. thats why i am in the situation i'm in now

yeah, I know. the sucky thing about ankle injuries is that you never know if it's healed or not. it stops hurting after days, and you can stop playing for weeks and you think surely it's gone, but then you play and it's back.
