I honestly am spoiled that way. I got a survey guy once asking me about my dining habits at "casual restaurants". So I go along -- the neighborhoods here are always filled with favorites. And then soon realize he's asking me about places like Outback Steakhouse and TGI Fridays.
And I'm like, "WTF? I thought people only ate at such sh*t holes when they're starving and lost in some godforsaken town on a business trip to suburban Dallas?"
Sure enough. I couldn't even think of the last time I'd been to anything on his list. It's then I realized that in a town like SF, most of those places are novelties -- like finding a White Castle at the Stadio San Paolo in Napoli.

And what am I doing right now? Watching the Fauxlympics, of course. But I recorded the women's semi-final between Brazil and Germany from this morning. Brazil came out flat, but then flat out ripped Germany a new one. It was pretty sweet since they've been unable to beat them -- ever.
The Brazilian women's team actually makes women's soccer worth watching. The first time I saw Marta dismantle the U.S. in the WC semi-final... she'll get the chance to do that again Thursday.
