Oooh. Do tell. What's so gem-like about it, and what/where is it?
Not very far from pune, there are plenty of hill stations but this place is down in the alley, not very big. That would be the most traditional Mughal+Maratha [The native tradition of Maharashtra state] place i have seen, not in terms of monumental architecture but the small houses, lifestyle of the people and the damn good food. No hotels to rent, either ashrams or the govt hostels. Hostile weather and literally nothing to manage it.

And good for me,plenty of pot growing all around :D

@Chemical Mo: Man, I really miss chemistry. Makes me want to start studying it again!

5pm til when? What you do is required to be done during those hours or could you switch to a day work schedule?
I do have flexibility with regards to working hours. I can inform my manager and work 8am-5pm one day, or 12-9pm the other day. But I am required to work from 5pm-2am cos that's when the rest of our team is working in. Though working in other shifts or even working from home will have a small negative impact towards my schedule adherence.

Great night yesterday! I bar hopped with friends, and d-town was full with lovely and beautiful girls as usual. Great weekend

I can see what you mean. I've just slowly grown to realize how significant chemistry is in the world around us. Though not every scientist works on the grand scale of chemistry that I imagine, I still think everyone does their part.
I agree! Bio, math, chemistry, physics, and etc overlap and depend on each other. If any goes missing, then we have a problem
