The clip were women hit women in the "vjay jay"? I think that was Tosh.
The NY Times Magazine last weekend published an interesting article on how comedy movies have skewed entirely to unfunny character-driven comedy and away from joke-driven comedy:
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/29/magazine/the-hangover-and-the-age-of-the-jokeless-comedy.html

What I've also found is that most American comedy of note in recent years has been low-brow, moron-driven comedy. Stuff like Sunny, Workaholics, and - as much as I think it's not nearly as good but still meets the profile - Tosh.0.

Yea I know what you mean and the Office is more of that.

Tosh.O is different, jokes are what's good about that show.
The jokes are a lot better than the clips. It's all in the commentary. But it's still spotty.

What works about Sunny and Workaholics where Tosh isn't as successful is that Tosh breaks the "fourth wall" all the time. He sometimes participates, but he mostly plays sane straightman and distances himself from the material. Sunny and Workaholics are far more compelling, and funny, to me because they wallow in that stupidity with no possible escape.

Have you seen Norm Mcdonald's new show?

I like the premise but all the material I've seen in commercials has been shit.

I have to mention this...I had the greatest cricket game of my life yesterday. Took 4 wickets, 3 were bowled out and 1 was caught and bowled by yours truly. Mind you, the guys I was playing with grew up playing the sport. I'm so proud of myself :touched:

are you thinking clear enough for a jump that big? especially with very little data to work with :D
To be fair there's a lot of transparency but you make a point I'm well aware of (and have come to accept grudgingly).

I actually haven't. I've been harping on the idea that sports is rife for a TMZ-style mock gossip show for years now. The Onion Sportsdome sort of tried it and mostly missed, IMO. I'm not sure what Norm brings to the table.
