What is the political leaning?
It varies from state to state... the Central government at the moment is more neutral, led by the Indian National Congress... Other than the Congress and its Allies, another majority player in Indian politics is the BJP who can be called the right wing... a few are governed by the Communist parties of India...

The number of political parties in India is very high... Hence most of the times parties form a coalition to form a majority in the Legislative Assembly...
