I have 3 layers of shirts on and am now contemplating whether I should put some gloves on as well. My room is above the garage so it's always freezing.
Ugh, I know what that's like. My room used to be in the basement, with a poorly isolated floor (in Norway that is, with a similar climate to yours). I used to have a free standing heater and put my legs on it, would at least warm me up partially. :D

I feel your pain. I had many places like that in uni, where you'd have to wear a hat and gloves to bed. The only good thing about our new place is that heat is free and we get the benefit of other apartments having their heat on too.

I have a standing heater as well, but my dad gets upset if I leave it on for "too long." :D But they work so well.

That sounds rough! Once I get in my bed I'm nice and warm. It's sitting at my desk that makes me ice cold.
