Indeed, I always wondered why they stick with them. But when you think about it, a simple retail store doesn't really need that much from a software terminal, only to print a check and correctly discharge an item from the lager list/stock list.

My firm however... :cool:
Yeah, but what's curious is where do they get those systems from nowadays? Supermarket chains open new stores, they need new terminals, they need to replace broken ones etc. Someone is still selling these :D

Dunno, but they're obvioulsy in demand still as I see them regulary.

No, we're Windows. We have a very good accounting program we're using for over 10 years, so we're tied to Windows.

Yep, and in 30 years you're still using it even though it only runs on museum hardware :D
