I think 5k should be fine for both of them.

I've not fully decided which one I'll buy. But It'll definitely be an upgrade on this one. PLus I need 24 frets and a Floyd Rose bridge.

Indeed, I always wondered why they stick with them. But when you think about it, a simple retail store doesn't really need that much from a software terminal, only to print a check and correctly discharge an item from the lager list/stock list.

Yeah, but what's curious is where do they get those systems from nowadays? Supermarket chains open new stores, they need new terminals, they need to replace broken ones etc. Someone is still selling these

No, we're Windows. We have a very good accounting program we're using for over 10 years, so we're tied to Windows.
