With the high amount of subscribers india has, the amount of bandwidth and breadth of the network will be tested. Lets hope the 3G network infrastructure was layed out with high traffic considerations.

AT&T made that mistake here because they wanted to have the “first and best” 3G network. Now they have 3G throughput issues every minute because of so many users.

BTW, I used the G2 for Friday and Saturday with T-mobiles 4G HSDPA+ service and it was ok at best. The phone was nice but I need to get back to a BB

I'm not sure what to expect. People here generally don't like to spend too much on phones or phones bills. They're not even interested that much in internet services. Maybe their mindset has changed, but I don't think a lot of people will get it early on. Either way, I don't plan to change my operator to the one who's offering the service first (DoCoMo). I'll wait till Vodafone launches it in Dec\Jan.
