What's funny is the Italians who act all shocked and appalled. This after generations of firebombing UCL semifinals, Lazio-Roma derbies that ended in chaos, and mopeds thrown off of stadium balconies.
It's being intentionally devalued. All this talk of more quantitative easing is sending the dollar south, and if it continues, then we'll see commodity prices at levels right before the 2008 implosion again. Wheat, beans, heating oil, gasoline... prices are going up and the American consumer will take it up the ass again.
