He's kind of a joke these days. It's been a while since he did something productive. He does the occasional 9-11 benefit and works on his Hip-hop Bible (literal, not figurative).
Have you heard the album "Survival Skills" that he put out with Buckshot last year?

I stopped paying attention to him when he said he wanted to create a new religion that would take the place of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam but be completely based on Hip-Hop.

Maybe I'll check it out.:D
Hell, that would be a better religion than the other crap, to be honest.

Yeah, too repetetive is defenitely a very fitting word. But the missions are decent, loved the one in prison ;) (only if it was longer...).
Yeah, I was thrilled to see them take that direction. Turned to be a let down in the end.
So rent it first kind of thing?
Definitely don't buy it. It usually takes me a week to finish a game, I finished this one in 2 days. It's really short and easy, even if you're a casual gamer like me.
