We drew with Mozambique 0-0 away with all our players fasting and playing in above 35 degrees temperature :weee:

Great way to start the African qualifiers. Hopefully we have better luck than last time when we didn't qualify because of goal difference with Ghana

Just imagine if your team didn't fast. You might have won.

Would be more impressive if they tied their hands behind their backs and still got the draw
I knew that post would be like a magnet to you. :p

Our FA tried to get the Mozambican FA to agree on playing the game at night when our players weren't fasting, but they didn't agree. So we had to play in those circumstances unfortunately.

Yeah imagine that. Mozambique didn't want to change the weather and the time. How pathetic.

Didn't want to change the weather? I didn't know they were capable of that, i mean i know those Africans are into magic and all that, but i didn't know they could actually change the weather.

We asked them to change the time though. You're not familiar with African football, this isn't a one off request, this happens all the time.

Of course, it doesn't cost anything to say it
It doesn't. Theres no way to know if they actually ate or drank in the privacy of their rooms, but the only thing i'm sure of, is that they didn't do it as a team. Other than that, some of them could have ate or drank secretly, nobody will ever know that.

Fred complained about the temperature, people ;). Pay attention.
I'm sure everybody noticed that. Whats your point?

I complained about having to play in such temperature while fasting. Well not really complained, more like i made a statement that i was proud of our players getting the result that they did under such circumstances.
