Couple of my buddies from TO released a new video recently, and I thought you lads might enjoy checking out a little Canadian Hip Hop. Justis and Mantis are great guys, so I figured I should rep em a bit.

Certainly not anything like the present day cRAP.
Say Andy, what happened to hip hop anyway? I think a big part of the appeal of hip hop was its social nature. Not social as in getting together with your buddies to smoke weed, but social as in social conscience, concern about the community etc.

Whereas rap is basically celebrating your own wealth and stagnation.

It's a combination of commercialization and the overall deterioration of our society, not only seen in hip-hop/rap.
