Thats what fucking shits me these days.

Hip Hop has been in a massive state of decline since around 2001. All the top artists are either fucking rubbish (Wayne, Souljah Boy LOL, 50 Cent, etc) or fucking fell off big time (Jay Z, Nas (sort of), DMX, Wu Tang). Autotune, shitty radio friendly clubby beats and very basic.

Rhyming schemes have almost ruined the genre for good.

Let me just say 94-95 had to be the best ever years for hip hop.

Big L - Lifestylez Ov Da Poor And Dangerous
Notorious BIG - Ready To Die
Mobb Deep - The Infamous
Nas - Illmatic
Wu Tang - 36 Chambers
AZ - Doe Or Die
Snoop - Doggystyke

Ahhhhhhh. Wish it was like that again
I agree completely. You know a lot about this stuff, so respect.

Most of the time you encounter rap fans who haven't even heard of the albums you listed, which is a major shame.

If Big L was around today, he would be so pissed off and disappointed with what the genre has become. It's sort of disheartening to see legends like Rakim fail to speak out against this current crap as well.

Yeah, TBH I was quite surprised and shocked (and happy) when I saw you sporting a Big L avatar. Major major respect! You seem to appreciate the same sort of rap I love (East Coast)

BTW, its disgraceful that so little people have heard of Big L. If he didnt get gunned down in 99, I reckon he would have gone on to be the undisputed G.O.A.T.

Such an under-rated and unknown cat, its a shame. By far my favourite rapper ever.

RIP to him.

P.S Doesnt the decline of hip hop remind you of the decline of Serie A? Hehe

No. I've been mostly flat for the past month. No clear trend or direction in several markets. The current state of the world is very uncertain, edging closer towards a breaking point.

Patience is key. I have no idea what I'm doing here but it's worked so far.
Better flat than negative I suppose.

It's gonna be a big day today, that's for sure.
Why?
