Even Guru from Gang Starr died recently, while in his 40's.

The only good Emcees we have left are Rakim, Nas and KRS-One.
The only time I was interested in rap was when I was in high school. My elder brother used to own an amazing collection of audio cassettes. Long, long time ago.

Any good recommendations?

Must be exciting times in the real financial world.
Looking to get short equities. The time is coming but it might not be here yet.

You been making any money in the market lately?
No. I've been mostly flat for the past month. No clear trend or direction in several markets. The current state of the world is very uncertain, edging closer towards a breaking point.

Patience is key. I have no idea what I'm doing here but it's worked so far.

Too bad Mobb Deep fell off big time and signed with that faggot 50 Cent. "The Infamous" is one of the best hip hop albums of the 90s.

AZ is also a real nice artist.
No doubt, Mobb was great back in the day, part of Queensbridge's finest. Unfortunately they let the cash flow get in the way of their talent. Up North Trip is a good song, apart from the well-known hits from that album.

Speaking of AZ, this is one of my favorite tracks.

Thats what fucking shits me these days.

Hip Hop has been in a massive state of decline since around 2001. All the top artists are either fucking rubbish (Wayne, Souljah Boy LOL, 50 Cent, etc) or fucking fell off big time (Jay Z, Nas (sort of), DMX, Wu Tang). Autotune, shitty radio friendly clubby beats and very basic.

Rhyming schemes have almost ruined the genre for good.

Let me just say 94-95 had to be the best ever years for hip hop.

Big L - Lifestylez Ov Da Poor And Dangerous
Notorious BIG - Ready To Die
Mobb Deep - The Infamous
Nas - Illmatic
Wu Tang - 36 Chambers
AZ - Doe Or Die
Snoop - Doggystyke

Ahhhhhhh. Wish it was like that again
