It's up to you to prioritize. Since you need the break badly, I think you should stick to the resignation. IMO, job satisfaction is the most important, if not 2nd to the pay.

it's not always for the money when you have alternatives...icey, if you will quit this job are you sure you will find another job and with that payment and that schedule? Imo it's better to work in an IT field than placing cans on isles..so be careful about the upcoming future. but you're a smart fellow..what the heck i'm talking here for ? :D

on a serious note, u r quite lucky u managed to recover some of the stuff on yr external. last month my 350gb external slipped from my hands and fell to the ground and as expected it was permanently damaged and i lost a lot of my stash and a long list of movies i downloaded earlier this year. :cry: :cry:
