Well i thought the post was kinda sarcastic that's why:), I'm learning it for my work m8 been a while since i used it, my department is gonna migrate our Novell servers to Server 2008...... And i'm not happy with that but i got nothing to say about it shamefully.

The avatar reminds me of the great night i had when we beated Brasil and Snoop was in town for some performances and he partyed with us.

You're a sysadmin? What kind of company is it?

Don't know much about "Novell servers", but I guess it's mostly file sharing, account management?

Oh come on m8, i readed the linux for your taste thread or i guess it was that thread:D So i reckon you do know about the existence of server 2008.

Yeah i am, You know the Amc hospital right? Me and 2 collegues are running the pathology deparment and had our own private servers, but now the big council made a decision that the whole hospital needs to be centralised, so we all are gonna work with with server 2008.

Yeah that's correct, Novell is used mostly for storing and file sharing and account management. I simply enjoy working with it and it's stable.

I know something about linux, does that make me a windows expert? I've never heard of Windows Server 2008 and to me windows is not exactly the first thing that comes to mind when I see the word "server".

It's "read" btw :)

Does Novell still sell the product? It sounds rather.. historical to my ears.
