BlueJ is the program we use in the lab for compiling and running programs we write, it's a pretty simple one and it's supposed to be used in colleges world wide for learning purposes or so thinks the prof :D


Oh and Im translating from Arabic hence the "writing codes" mistake.

Looks okay I guess. But I don't like insular environments like that, I like to deal with files directly.

You still didn't answer my question though, Should I practice the practical aspect or solving some problems on a piece of paper would do the trick?

Is the exam programming on paper? Programming on paper is incredibly annoying, but above all what you need is practice in programming, so you know where to start and how to go about writing some program.

I know that already, I've been practicing week in week out in college but I don't have the program on my laptop, I didn't even bother to get it. Either way, no it's not a paper written one its 100% practical exam with everyone sitting on his/her computer in the lab and having to write codes for what the questions ask.

Though we've a paper final exam coming soon.
