Without the Freedom of Speech politics cannot exist. Men like Trey Parker and Matt Stone (although some of you may view it as immature) are some of the few willing to stick up for these basic rights and the fact that they have been censored is a sad comdenation on the society we now globally live in. Whilst i respect that it is your choice to not portray your prophet, no one has any right to tell someone else they cant. It is completely preposterous.

Even though I did not like the episodes it would have been a great day for human rights if they had aired an image of Muhammad. Unfortunately it was ruined by threats of violence from people who live like it is still the middle ages. It sickens me that they have that power to get things censored this way.

New South park was gay, actually, the last two were gay. They didn't show Mohammed, and they didn't say his name in the second one.
Fucking gay.
I agree, neither of them were funny at all. The only thing I liked was the mockery of Tom Cruise and the other Celebs. The whole Scott Tenerman bit was a fail.
They should have just canceled the second episode and burned the tapes.
The problems young white Europeans and Americans face in todays world. Life must be so hard.
Excuse my arrogance but why the fuck would someone who's living in the 21st century in the free world he is in, attack a religious icon for muslims who lived about 1500 years ago, other than mock the followers of the religion?
And if you would accept someone making a comic show mocking you atheists calling you blood-asking terrorist who live in tents in the desert and know shit about civilization, then you sir would be saint.
But the episode wasn't about attacking Muhammad or Muslims in anyway. All they wanted to do was show an image of him in an attempt to tackle this ridiculous idea that Muslims and Muhammad should somehow be above everybody else that South Park rips on. Its sad that this was censored, if Muslims want to protest that is fine but they should not be threatening the writers with violence and what they want that way.
If you don't like South Park then don't fucking watch it. The rest of us shouldn't have to suffer and have what we find funny censored because radical Muslims can't get a sense of humor.
But it isnt mocking Mohammed, it is mocking the culture of fear that has been brought about in recent years.
Do you not understand how important freedom of speech is Ze? Or are you just going to give me snarcky sarcastic remarks without substantiation?
Well apparently 1 billion muslims do, and out of respect to them at least you shouldn't.
If those muslims don't like South Park than nothing is forcing them to watch it. Why can't they just change the channel and accept the other 5 Billion people on this earth shouldn't have to all live in fear of offending them.
And what does prophet Mohammad has to do with that culture of fear? Its the culture of respect between nations and other cultures that is a factor of cutting this mocking crap.
The point of this episode was to tackle censorship and it failed due to some radical threats. I hope you understand how sad it is that even in America, "the land of the free" we still don't have free speech. This was a step backwards in basic human rights.
You talk about respect but were you morally outraged that they showed Buddha doing lines and Jesus looking at porn? That shows far less respect than simply airing an Image of Muhammad.
My overall point is that we should be able to express and speak how we want without fear of radical muslims blowing us up.
