dru, do you think HD justifies the explosion in disk space? 35gb for a movie, hello?

Mind you you're talking to someone who doesn't do any HD, so usually you shouldn't take criticism seriously when coming from people who don't use the thing.

I'm just stating an obvious fact

HD is better.

Now if you're strictly limiting the scope of the discussion to non-HD then yes, streaming on the computer is better than watching on tv.

Compelling argument sir
:D

Well consider it from the finnancial outlay that I would need in order to procure an acceptable HD system

TV - €1500
HD Channels- €40 per month.

At this point in time I'd rather keep my two grand and spent half that in 18months time when the consumers have lost their hard-ons and move on to '3-d'

3D will not replace HD. Maybe something else will but not 3D. It's inconceivable to have consumers wear 3D glasses to watch TV amongst other things

I was just reading some secret government files, have any of you heard of Project Red Sway?

It's a secret government project to clone T-Rex, and Velociraptor DNA into mind-controlled US operatives called "DinoSoldiers" and use them on broad-based US military operations to alleviate human losses in proxy wars.
