Good to be back among the living.
I'm telling you, the worst was when they go to deliberations and lock you in this room, behind a bailiff (a sort of police officer) who practically holds you in there as if you are all prisoners. You can only leave the room with the judge's permission, which you have to get by ringing a doorbell on the wall to get the bailiff to ask on your behalf. And the place has its own bathrooms and walls that are filled with metal to prevent any and all cell phone reception, etc., from coming in.
And then you're in there with 11 other people arguing about their opinions and views about the evidence. And then there are some people who bicker and are even hostile. It's like having 11 bad marriages and being locked in with all of them at once for 7 1/2 straight hours. Without the aid of coffee even. (They do bring in lunch though.)
